Promeed accepts returns within 60 days of the ship date “for any reason” provided the item is unused, in original condition and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase; you email service@promeed.com with the order number for a return authorisation first. Promeed pays return shipping only for a manufacturing defect or a fulfilment error such as a wrong item; otherwise the postage is yours, to a return address in New Haven, Connecticut (or North York, Ontario, for Canada). Products marked Final Sale cannot be returned or exchanged, and exchanges are offered only for defective or damaged goods. The refund is promised within one to three working days of the package arriving and being checked, to the original payment method.

Items bought from promeed.com carry a one-year limited warranty for the original purchaser within the United States covering “any physical flaw in the product despite normal usage and proper handling”, with a one-time replacement or repair at no cost and collection and delivery arranged by Promeed. It excludes comfort, colour or size preference, stains, burns, tears, cuts and liquid damage, improper washing or dryer shrinkage, and normal laundering wear — which covers most ways silk fails. Products bought from other retailers or marked “used” are not covered; two of the three BBB complaints in 2025 were torn items where Promeed either declined (marketplace purchase) or offered a partial refund rather than a replacement. Claims need photos and proof of purchase.

The Better Business Bureau profile for Promeed Inc., Spokane, showed an A- rating on 8 September 2026, not accredited, in business since May 2023, with three complaints, all answered: a $1,104 order that never arrived and was refunded late (May 2025), a pillowcase that ripped on its second wash and drew a 50% refund offer (September 2025), and a torn sheet set refused as a marketplace purchase (September 2025). Trustpilot showed 4.5/5 from 29 reviews, 73% five-star and 10% one-star, praising fabric feel and responsive email support. Both are small, self-selected samples.

Promeed’s about page says its silk comes from craftsmen in a town south of the Yangtze River (China), lists OEKO-TEX Standard 100, ISO 9001:2015 and SMETA/BSCI certifications, and gives the US headquarters as 100 N Howard St, Suite R, Spokane — the address on the BBB profile for Promeed Inc. Its Terms of Service, however, limit liability for and indemnify “THX Silk Inc.” (Sections 13 and 14), a separate silk brand, and choose “the laws of the UK” (Section 18). The Good Housekeeping “Best Value” award on the pillowcase pages is Promeed’s own undated claim; we did not find the article. Nothing here suggests a scam — the public records are a small, real retailer’s — but the paperwork is careless.
