Editorial responsibility, commercial separation and how complaints are handled.
Editorial responsibility
The editorial desk is responsible for every claim on a page. Merchant pages carry the date their sources were read; brand investigations carry a publication date, a verification date and a correction log. Every policy fact names its source and its status.
Commercial separation
Merchants and affiliate networks do not see content before publication and cannot buy a verdict, a category recommendation, a place on a page or the removal of a warning. Catalog picks are selected by rules with no payout signal. We do not currently publish sponsored content; if we ever do, it will be labelled Sponsored, kept visually separate, and will never be combined with a verdict.
Independence
No one who writes for the site holds a financial interest in a merchant it covers beyond the affiliate commissions disclosed on every page. We do not accept free products, paid trips or payments for coverage.
Complaints and corrections
Anyone can report an error, including the merchant concerned. Write to support@buybestproduct.net with the page address and the claim in question. We check the original source, correct the page if it is wrong, and record material corrections on the Corrections page. Merchants who believe a policy line is out of date are asked to point us to the current published page.
