DJIUSA
DJI drones, cameras and gimbals from djiusa.com, an independent reseller, not DJI: delivery, return and warranty rules as published, and what to check before ordering.
Verdict
Buy here
- Current drones, Osmo cameras and gimbals at or below DJI’s own price
- Keep the box sealed until sure: the 30-day return needs resalable condition
- Genuine accessories and batteries, low-risk if the model match is exact
Buy elsewhere
- A drone you might return after flying: used is not resalable
- Orders to Alaska, Hawaii or US territories without a shipping quote first
- Buying for DJI’s warranty: the reseller’s authorised status could not be confirmed

- Delivery
- Same-day dispatch before 4 pm on weekdays; 3–5 business days; free over $200
Details
Orders placed Monday to Friday before 4 pm local time are processed and shipped the same day from the California or New Jersey warehouse; the reseller says over 95% of orders arrive within the promised 3–5 business days. Shipping is free on orders over $200 in the 48 contiguous states and DC; below that a flat $12.99 applies. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the territories cost more and take longer — you are asked to request a quote before ordering. Product pages state that delivery requires a personal signature on receipt, so plan to be in. Report transport damage within seven days of signing, or the product is deemed to have arrived intact and working.

- Returns
- 30 days from receipt, new and resalable only; you pay return shipping
Details
Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt for items in new and resalable condition with no signs of use, or for items with a verified manufacturing defect. You pay the return postage unless the reseller sent the wrong item or a damaged one, in which case it covers shipping both ways. Refunds go to the original payment method, generally within 5–10 business days of the return arriving. Bundles must come back complete; items in a bundle are not refunded separately. DJI Care Refresh plans are refundable only while the code is unactivated, memberships are non-refundable once activated, and gift cards are final. Start a return through customer service by email, phone or WhatsApp; the policy names no restocking fee.

- Warranty
- DJI’s warranty, claimed through DJI service; authorised-dealer purchases only
Details
The product warranty is DJI’s, not the reseller’s: the after-sales policy published on djiusa.com reproduces DJI’s terms and directs warranty service to DJI’s local service centre. Under those terms, DJI products bought after 1 August 2016 are covered only if purchased from an authorised dealer — djiusa.com says it is one, but DJI’s dealer directory did not let us confirm that. Periods listed: 12 months on the main components of the Mini, Air 3S and Flip series, 12 months or 200 charge cycles on batteries, none on propellers; DJI Power stations 36 months. Within 30 days of receipt the reseller offers a replacement for manufacturing defects. Optional Seel protection plans sold at checkout are third-party cover, not DJI Care Refresh.

- Support
- Email, phone and WhatsApp; reply within 24 hours; Trustpilot 4.2/5
Details
Customer service is by email (service@djiusa.com), a US toll-free number (+1 833 962 9226) and WhatsApp (+852 5142 2514, a Hong Kong number); the site says it is monitored around the clock with replies within 24 hours but publishes no staffed hours. On Trustpilot the djiusa.com profile showed 4.2 out of 5 from about 590 reviews when read on 8 September 2026 (claimed by the company); recurring complaints concern carrier delays, missing or faulty contents on arrival, slow communication on repairs and depreciation fees on activated returns. A search on the same day found no BBB profile for Focus Global Digital Limited. Self-selected samples show what goes wrong, not how often.

- Payment
- PayPal including Pay in 4 on $10–$2,000 orders; Hong Kong company, Hong Kong law
Details
Product pages offer PayPal, including “Pay in 4” instalments on approved orders between $10 and $2,000 and a monthly plan subject to credit approval; card brands are not listed on the pages we read, so check the checkout. Prices are in US dollars. The terms of service are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, with Focus Global Digital Limited, Bank of America Tower, Central, Hong Kong, as the contracting party — worth knowing if a dispute ever goes beyond customer service. The terms do not mention sales tax; read the order total before paying, and check the name on your card statement against the order confirmation.

- Safety
- FAA: register drones of 250 g or more, pass TRUST, broadcast Remote ID
Details
Before a first flight in the US, check the FAA’s recreational flyer rules (page updated 18 March 2026): a drone weighing 250 g (0.55 lb) or more must be registered with the FAA; every recreational flyer must pass the free online TRUST test and carry proof; since 16 September 2023 any drone that requires registration must also broadcast Remote ID unless flown at an FAA-recognised identification area; and flights stay at or below 400 ft in uncontrolled airspace, with LAANC or DroneZone authorisation needed in controlled airspace. Sub-250 g models such as the Mini series avoid registration but not the other rules. Flying for pay or business falls under Part 107 instead.

Worth it

Check first

Questions
Is djiusa.com DJI’s official store?
No. It is run by Focus Global Digital Limited, a Hong Kong company, and says so on its company-information page; DJI’s store is dji.com. It says it is DJI-authorised and ships from California and New Jersey; we could not confirm that on DJI’s dealer directory.
Who handles the warranty if my drone fails?
DJI does, through its service centres and online repair request, provided the product came from an authorised dealer. Within 30 days of receipt the reseller replaces manufacturing defects; after that you deal with DJI. Keep the order confirmation as proof; Seel plans are third-party cover.
Can I return a drone after flying it?
Not for a change of mind: the 30-day return requires new, resalable condition with no signs of use, and Trustpilot reviews mention depreciation fees on activated returns. A verified manufacturing defect within 30 days is different: the reseller replaces the unit, covering shipping both ways.
Do I need to register a DJI drone?
Yes if it weighs 250 g or more: FAA registration before flying, plus Remote ID broadcast. Recreational flyers must pass the free TRUST test and keep proof. Lighter models avoid registration but not TRUST or the 400 ft limit. FAA rules, updated 18 March 2026.
How do you choose the picks on this page?
A script reads the djiusa.com catalogue feed every night and selects in-stock items in each category priced roughly $50–1,500, recording the price it saw. Editors can pin, annotate or hide items. Nothing is chosen for its payout, and we have tested none of it.
