Plans run one, three or six months and renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price, which the terms say may be higher or lower than you first paid. To stop a renewal you must cancel at least 48 hours before the period ends; a later cancellation takes effect after the next period. The help centre adds a clause worth reading twice: cancel before the first recurring charge and you are asked to pay the difference between the discounted subscription price and the one-time price; after the first renewal you can cancel free. Cancel from the self-service account (sign up separately with your order email) or by emailing hello@colonbroom.com. Renewals can be postponed by up to 30 days.

For US and Canadian customers the return label costs $15, deducted from the refund. Refunds are issued within 14 days of the goods arriving back and can take 10–30 working days to reach your account. Only the initial purchase qualifies — renewals are excluded — and orders are processed almost immediately, so cancelling after checkout is not guaranteed.
