- Delivery
- Free shipping on orders of $49 or more; delivery times are not published anywhere we could read
Details
Every page of the US store carries the line “Free shipping on orders $49+”, and the terms repeat it. That is the only shipping fact we could confirm. The Shipping & Handling article in Hydro Flask’s help centre loads its text by script and showed us only its summary — “how long will my order take to arrive including processing and shipping… depending on the shipping method selected and the type of order placed” — so we cannot quote processing or transit times, carriers, or whether PO boxes and military addresses are served. The trade-in programme covers the contiguous 48 states only; ask before ordering to Alaska, Hawaii or an APO address. The delivery estimate at checkout is the number that counts.

We looked for a published return window on 8 September 2026 and did not find one we could read. The Returns and Refunds articles at help.hydroflask.com load by script; the Returns article’s own page summary still reads “Test”, and the Refunds summary is written for UK distance-selling rules (“if you cancel… we will refund”). The US Terms and Conditions cover cancellation by Hydro Flask and pricing errors but say nothing about customer returns, exchanges or return postage. Until you have it in writing, treat a purchase as final: ask by chat or phone for the current return window, the condition required and any charge, and keep the reply with your order email. Ask about customised MyHydro and engraved items first.

- Warranty
- Lifetime on bottles and hard goods, five years on soft coolers and totes, per Hydro Flask
Details
Hydro Flask’s international warranty page calls the Hydro Flask Promise “our lifetime warranty” and sends US customers to a help-centre article whose text did not render; its summary says the Let’s Go Promise “guarantees our products”, and the US Warranty Process summary (updated 8 August 2019) says you must ship the product back for review before a replacement is sent. The fullest terms we could read sit on the brand’s Asia-Pacific warranty portal: a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer’s defects on bottles, tumblers, food containers and hard accessories; five years on soft coolers, totes, slings and lunch boxes; exclusions for misuse, cleaning damage, modification and wear; claims processed within 14 days of receipt. Those are regional terms — confirm the US article before relying on them.

Support is by phone on 888-584-9376, Monday to Friday 5am–4pm Pacific; live chat from the button on the site, weekdays 8am–3:30pm Pacific; or a contact form that Hydro Flask says can take up to 48 hours — it recommends calling. On 8 September 2026 the Better Business Bureau listed the Bend, Oregon business (started 17 September 2009) with a B rating, not accredited and 24 complaints in three years, mostly about shipping promises and billing. Trustpilot showed 1.8 out of 5 from 149 reviews, 70% one-star, profile unclaimed; the themes were slow replies, leaking lids and the cost of posting a bottle back for a warranty claim. Self-selected samples: they show what goes wrong, not how often.

- Rewards
- Free rewards: 100 points is $5, points lapse after a year without activity; $5 per traded-in bottle
Details
Creating an account enrols you in House of Hydro Rewards for free and earns 50 points; points come from purchases placed directly on hydroflask.com (phone orders do not count), and 100 points convert to $5 at checkout, 1,000 to $50. Only one discount code can be used per order, and points expire after a year without a purchase or activity. Tier 3 members get free base engraving and standard ground shipping. The trade-in programme takes stainless-steel Hydro Flask bottles, tumblers, mugs, food jars, bowls and plates — not bags, totes or coolers — for 100 points ($5) each: register the item, print a label that expires after 30 days, and post it from the contiguous 48 states. Pro Deal members get a $5 code instead.

Details
Searching for Hydro Flask’s own FAQ wording on 8 September 2026 returned several unrelated domains presenting themselves as Hydro Flask stores — among them hydroflaskes.us, ihydroflaskshop.com, hydroflaskbottles.com, thehydroflask.com and hydorflask.com — reproducing the brand’s FAQ and delivery text. None appears on Hydro Flask’s own international site selector, which lists hydroflask.com for the US and separate official sites for Australia, Japan, Singapore and other markets. We did not open those shops and make no claim about what they deliver; the point is that a Hydro Flask page design and a lifetime-warranty promise do not prove you are on the official store. Check the address bar, and buy through hydroflask.com or a retailer you know — the warranty text we could read covers authorised channels only.

Questions
Is hydroflask.com the official Hydro Flask store?
Yes. The site’s terms name Steel Technology, LLC d/b/a Hydro Flask of Bend, Oregon; Helen of Troy has owned the brand since 2016. Hydro Flask’s warranty selector lists its official regional sites; the look-alike domains we found are not on it.
What are the shipping and return rules?
Shipping is free from $49; that is the only shipping fact we could read. The returns and refunds articles did not render and the terms are silent on returns, so ask by phone (888-584-9376, weekdays 5am–4pm PT) or chat first and keep the answer.
Is the warranty really for life?
Hydro Flask calls it a lifetime warranty. The fullest text we could read, on the brand’s Asia-Pacific portal, gives limited lifetime cover against defects on bottles and hard goods and five years on soft coolers and totes; you ship the item back for review first.
How do you choose the picks on this page?
A script reads the Hydro Flask feed every night and picks in-stock items in each category priced roughly $15–150, recording the price it saw. Editors can pin or hide items. Nothing is chosen for its payout, and we have tested none of it.
Do you earn from these links?
Yes. Links to Hydro Flask are affiliate links and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That changes nothing about what we tell you to confirm or to skip.
